Stereotypes

Every action we take we are compared to it,
Every decision we make we are judged by it,
Every choice we consider is qualified by it,
Everything we achieve is matched to it.
If we go with it we are criticised
If we go against it we are mocked,
It stands to be sympathised, leaves countless ostracised
An excuse for humanity to be stifled, blocked,
A barrier, a blockade, a statue of frustration,
A mother and father of misinformed manipulation,
A crop of corruption, a handbook of dysfunction
All multidimensional yet this single rule measures,
No sin is unique to one kind,
A true honest being would see that goodness is blind

Eureka: finally realised the very reason why things have gone so wrong

I haven't had the best luck this year with men, had some pretty awful situations. I have been really upset at times saying oh its me and my friends have said its the people you choose but I have come to realise its how ive chosen which has been the biggest problem. If I think about it it becomes clear that I've chosen people on shallow, artificial and individual reasons not the ones that matter and in return for that I have been foolish they have chosen me on the important reasons and on a whole but of course you are both selecting on the same shallow reasons such as looks or how good you reckon they'll be in bed. And yet going in on such reasons I have seemed to expect something more from them when obviously its not going to be any different. It is important but its not enough and their not the highest priorities, personally I think peoples politics are a big factor for example as a collectivist I've proved I cannot be with an individualist, like oil water. You also have to think if they are single why is that? What have they done and what is there too be wary of. Another important piece of advice that a very good and wise friend of mine told me was to weigh up the negatives, for example when Ive said oh yeah he's nice but a bit of a geek that should be weighed up against for example cheat, drugs, bad temper, liar....etc. So my outlook needs to change big time, I have been unlucky but I haven't always played my part. Finally, I think initial imperfection unfolds nice surprises and surface perfection leads to nasty surprises.

Mary Portas - queen of shops

This woman really inspires me, ambition, patience and innovation.

women have lost their way in music just as much as the men

Ive heard various documentaries and discussions about the changes in mainstream black popular music and how the message in the music that has been lost ie from your gill scott herons and marvin gayes promoting positive images to the kind of negative messages sent out by most of todays mainstream music. However, focus is on how the men have changed but i believe the women have changed just as much. When they poured their hearts bout their men doin em wrong you felt it with them, their heartbreak their struggles and in a way they sent out feminist messages of strong and dedicated women. Yet now that feels dead, I don't believe in the women of music in todays industry and they often advertise a very submissive role to other young women, I guess Stupid Girls by Pink summed it up a bit but i miss real artists with real stories to tell us and that the main thing we're bothered about is the voice and the message they send out.
Personally, I aim to work against that grain and the minority of us that do show should try extra hard because music is powerful and we should be sending out strong powerful messages just like the one and only Aretha she asked for Respect and she bloody well deserved it, what an empowering message. Sisters lets put the respect back into our music and if you've been treated like dirt i wanna hear it in your music don't let him get away with it!

Double standards

Facing up to the tough reality of double standards isn't easy....they have the ability to make us feel helpless which grains on a passion to not give in. However, over time one questions if this may obstruct a road to happiness....having the world singing from another hymn sheet, like a chorus blasted in ones ears ultimately deafens one to possibility. Unexplainable pain is the driving force of any fight, how can one be guilty and another innocent for the same crime? Why should this be determined by biology? Different versions of these laws are replicated in different society which is not necessarily defined by national borders. Fundamentally their objectives are identical and those at advantage with a free run are men.

Bit of philosophy to be continued

Underneath we are undoubtedly identical and simply draped in different layers that mask our parallels; honesty is extint as we our conditioned, developed and weened on lies. Sold as the means of self protection, these lies become chameleons that adapt correspond and coordinate for social survival. They are bread and water. Different surroundings then become foreign to one another , opposites demonised as the roots of injustice. It is essential that we attempt to break all barriers that are ultimately based on lies and feast on diversity by incorporating one another in celebration...
